XProlube XT-4TD2F is a heavy-duty diesel engine oil (HDEO) performance additive package (detergent-inhibitor) for blending finished diesel-engine oils. Added to base oils with a viscosity modifier at the recommended treat rate, it provides the higher-alkalinity (TBN) detergents, dispersants, anti-wear agents, antioxidants and corrosion inhibitors required for API CK-4/diesel-class oils — controlling soot, deposits and acids, protecting valvetrain and liners against wear, and supporting long drains and after-treatment compatibility.
